Damon Seale is passionate about pianos. During his 15 years tenure as a concert and recording musician, he began learning the technical aspects of the piano and in 1985, began his own piano restoration company. For the last 25 years, his love of the instrument is evident in the meticulous care he and his technicians provide.

What started as a simple acoustic piano tuning and repair shop has now grown into Seale Keyworks, Inc., a full-service musical instrument firm specializing in the sales and service of all acoustic pianos, organs and electronic keyboards. “We are very fortunate to  enjoy decades of pooled experience that our technicians, sales staff and management contribute. Most of our staff  have worked in instrument service and sales as well as the entertainment industry all of their lives," Damon explains. "We understand the musician in all of us as well as the emotional and the financial investment in musical instruments - especially pianos."

As this year marks their 25th anniversary, the team at Seale Keyworks celebrates the fact that they have grown from a sole-proprietorship to a consortium of 13 talented artisans, providing a range of services from routine tuning and maintenance, repair and restoration to complete piano remanufacturing.

Over the last 15 years they have grown to include additional services such as electronic repair, instrument rentals, moving, storage and sales. One service specialty involves retrofitting pianos with computerized player systems. "We have completed all of the player installation and service certification programs. Many include the new internet streaming player systems as well as incorporating the piano into the whole house entertainment system."

In addition to servicing recording studios video sound stages with daily instrument tuning, Seale Keyworks provides service for the priceless instruments of Nashville’s Country Music Hall of Fame, Tennessee Museum, Ryman Auditorium, Grand Ol’ Opry, the CMA, Dove and Academy Awards presentations and countless national and international artists and musicians.

While the technicians at Seale Keyworks are experts in servicing and/or restoring any brand of instrument, they specialize in high-end American, German and Austrian pianos as well as rare vintage instruments. They understand the importance of timely, reliable service and are dedicated to providing professional quality service for both their commercial and residential clientele.
